Stainless Steel Home Equipment Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. was established in 1973 by an industrial team of Thai businessmen who realized that most high quality kitchen equipment and sanitary ware mostly imported and very expensive. Recognizing the potential for continuous in this market, they set up a manufacturing company to produce stainless steel sinks under the trademark “Sweethome”. The aim was to bring the prospect of better living standards within reach of the Thai consumer while meeting the same quality standards but being much cheaper than the equivalent imported products.

In 1986, the company expanded its market by exporting its products to the middle east and other regions of Asia. At the same time, the company expanded its production line by producing enamelled steel bathtubs from its first factory in Thailand. The following year, the company expanded production of gloss pump iron baths to other countries in Asia and Africa.

Since it was first established in 1973, Stainless Steel Home Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has received many awards that pay tribute to the success of its operation and include the Vitrament 1991 Gold Award from the Vitreous Enamelled Development Council (Winner of the enamelled sheet-steel bathtub from the English Association; Best Product Award 1989, in the category of Kitchen Equipment; and honorable award from Mr.Korn Dabbarangsri, Prime Minister’s Office.

Recognizing the value of international quality standards, the company decided to adopt and implement the internationally acclaimed ISO9002 quality system throughout its entire operation. With a dedicated commitment and close cooperation of all management and staff, the company successfully implemented the system and on passing the final audit, was awarded ISO9002 Certification by BVQI on 26th April, 2000. This accreditation assures customers that the production process and product range meet the highest quality standards recognized worldwide which will enable it
to tackle world markets on equal basis with other international companies.

In 2010 , our company have started to manufacture and supply stainless steel kitchen sinks to Australia under Australian Standards certified.

In 2020 , our company started to expand the market with a commitment to developing the quality of products, and certified quality system of products “Watermark” from Australia.

Through its commitment to sound business practices, a competitive pricing policy and good customer relations, the company’s expanded range of Sweethome products has enabled it to hold more than 80% of the market share in Thailand. The company is committed to maintaining and developing the highest quality “Sweethome” products that will meet the demands of all its customers in the future.
